I had the opportunity to attend Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s Food Leaders Lab Graduation Ceremony on Thursday and tour Vida Medical Clinic on Friday.
The work of organizations such as Feeding American Eastern Wisconsin and the Vida Medical Clinic are vital for our community.
I had the high honor of greeting a tour of fourth graders from Spring Road Elementary.
This is deeply meaningful to me because I was in their shoes when my fourth grade Spring Road Elementary class visited the Capitol almost exactly 18 years ago.
Thank you for attending the Winnebago County Legislative Delegation bipartisan joint budget listening session. It is important to regularly hear from my constituents to best understand their priorities in the budget and beyond.

As I write this, the Wisconsin State Assembly is discussing AB 245 of which I am a cosponsor. AB 245 will increase state aid to local governments by a minimum of 10%, and will help our municipalities which have been underfunded for far too long.
