GRAND CHUTE (WLUK) — The Grand Chute Fire Department is looking for public input on its future.
The department is updating its strategic plan for the next five years.
Its inviting all who live, work and play in the town of Grand Chute to complete a short survey to provide their feedback.
The online survey will be open through March 31, 2023.
The internationally accredited Grand Chute Fire Department provides paramedic-level emergency medical service, fire suppression, all-hazards rescue, and risk reduction services to the town’s 23,964 residents and daytime population of approximately 40,000 people that includes visitors and employees in the town’s retail, industrial, and recreational spaces.
The municipality is served by 2 fire stations with combined daily staffing of 10 firefighters and supported by 4 administrative staff members.
The dedicated people of the Grand Chute Fire Department answered more than 3,000 emergency calls for service in 2022, an increase of nearly 35% over the last five years.
