Budget Process

Wisconsin is at its strongest fiscal position in decades. Republicans will continue to do what we’ve done, and that is legislate fiscal responsibility.

The Joint Finance Committee recently announced their public hearing schedule for budget-related hearings, all hearings will run from 10am to 5pm:

Tuesday, April 11th
UW- Eau Claire, Davies Student Center
Ojibwe Grand Ballroom (Third Floor)
77 Roosevelt Ave, Eau Claire

Wednesday, April 12th
Wilderness Resort, Glacier Canyon Conference Center
Sandstone Meeting Room

Wednesday, April 26th

The legislature is committed to hearing from all sides to ensure that we have a budget that works for everyone. If you want members of the Joint Finance Committee to hear your thoughts and suggestions for our upcoming biennial budget, you can submit feedback to: https://legis.wisconsin.gov/topics/budgetcomments/

As taxpayers and members of our community, your input is vital to this process… I encourage you to take time and share your thoughts!
