It was a busy week in Madison and around the district! I am continuing to work with members of our community to fight for much needed funds for the 2023-25 budget.
I had the pleasure of hosting TeenPact this year. TeenPact is a national organization with staff in each of our 50 states and the District of Columbia that affords the opportunity for young people to spend a week in the state capitol to learn about the legislative process.
I had the opportunity to tour the UW- Madison School of Nursing as well as joining a panel to discuss campus free speech and the recent survey results conducted by the UW System to help examine the environment of protecting and encouraging free speech on our public campuses.
In addition to my time in Madison, I enjoyed my many visits in the district; I spent the morning of Tuesday with the Board of Directors of the American National Bank in Appleton and finished my week meeting the Wisconsin Women’s Council.
