It was a very busy week in Madison and in the district! I had the pleasure of testifying in the Assembly Committee on Local Government for my bill with Rep. Nate Gustafson on local referendums. It is important to me for governments at all levels to be as transparent as possible, and that’s what this bill aims to accomplish.
I also testified in the Assembly Committee on Regulatory Licensing with Representative Joy Goeben for our bill that would allow DSPS to administer preliminary healthcare credentials to recent graduates while their application for a license is being processed. I was happy to see that this resonated with committee members.
As a Bay Lakes Council Board Member, I was happy to hear that the Boy Scouts were coming down to Madison this past Wednesday. I had the pleasure to meet with young scouts from all across Wisconsin, hearing all about the great things they have been doing over the past year!
In addition, my staff and I had productive meetings with:
- Winnebago County- Department of Health Services
- Outagamie County- Department of Health Services
- Wisconsin Counties Association
- Democracy Found
- WI Builders Association
- National Association of Social Workers
- Mechanical Contractors Association
- Professional Agricultural Consultants
