Merry Christmas!
Hello! This week, the Committee on Health held a vote on a several important bills, including two I authored that would reduce barriers to employment and increase access to service animals for those who need them.
On Tuesday, the Committee on Government Operations held a hearing on a bill I authored that would make the Monarch Wisconsin’s state butterfly. Thank you to former State Treasurer Jack Voigt and former State Senator Gary Goyke for their continued advocacy on this issue!
On Wednesday, I received the Wisconsin Property Taxpayers’ (WPT) Champion of the Taxpayer Award. I will continue advocating to reduce the tax burden on hardworking Wisconsinites.
My staff and I were also happy to meet with:
- The MACC Fund
- American Childhood Cancer Organization
- Cicero Action
- City of Neenah, celebrating the closure of TID 5 & 6
I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We will not be having an e-update next week, so I’ll see you in the new year!
