Meetings In-District and in Madison
This week, we had quite a few meetings in Madison and around our area. We were able to meet with Maxim Healthcare, Nurse-Family Partnership, Wisconsin Medical Society, and Pew Charitable Trusts. These meetings revolved around helping patients receive better care in the hospital setting, improving access to home and community-based services, and substance use treatment and prevention.
We also had meetings this week on a range of topics including the upcoming budget, the new Alcohol Division at the Department of Revenue, policy priorities for our local restaurants, and the Wisconsin Technical College System! I also had the pleasure of meeting with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office to discuss potential upcoming partnership opportunities between Wisconsin and Taiwan.
Around our area, we were able to attend the Waupaca County Unit Meeting, held a budget listening session in the Town of Center, and met with folks around the district.
My staff and I were happy to meet with:
- Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago
- Department of Revenue
- Evidence-to-Impact Collaborative
- Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin
- Maxim Healthcare Services
- Nurse-Family Partnership
- Alliance of Health Insurers
- United HealthCare
- Wisconsin Medical Society
- Pew Charitable Trusts
- American Council of Engineering Companies
- Wisconsin Restaurant Association
- Holistic Alternative Recovery Trust
- Wisconsin Technical College System
- Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association
- Waushara County Child Support Agency
- Unite 2 Fight Paralysis
It was a pleasure to meet with the Chicago Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Madison!
