19th Senate District Update: November 1, 2024

Hello! Today marks the end of in-person absentee voting for some municipalities, though others run through Sunday. You can find what’s on your ballot, how to find out when and where to vote, and more at MyVote.wi.gov.

I also wanted to share upcoming important dates for folks to keep in mind:

  • October 22-November 3: In-person absentee voting. Days and hours vary by municipality.
  • (Today) November 1: Last day to register in-person at a municipal clerk’s office. Voters may still register on Election Day.
  • November 5: Election Day. Polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00PM. All absentee ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM.

You can find out more dates, times, and deadlines on the Wisconsin Elections Commission website.

This week, my staff and I were happy to meet with some incredible folks around the district. I want to thank the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King for letting me stop by and hear what challenges and opportunities are coming up. I also had the opportunity to sit down with Manawa Mayor Frazier to discuss the community’s continued recovery efforts after the dam break and flooding this summer.

I also want to highlight the Fall Color Report from Travel Wisconsin. This interactive map helps identify when the leaves will be changing color throughout Wisconsin. We are at or past peak color this season! Check it out!
