19th Senate District Update: November 10, 2023

Thank You Veterans!

Another busy week! The senate was on the floor this past Tuesday, voting on a couple constitutional amendments that will end up on the ballot in April. We also confirmed several executive appointments to various boards.

I also voted on important bills and appointment moving their way through the senate’s Mental Health and Universities committees

My staff and I were happy to meet with:

  • American Heart Association
  • Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin
  • UW–Stevens Point Student Government Association
  • Molina Health Care
  • American Transmission Company
  • INSPIRE Early Childhood Learning Center
  • Wisconsin Historical Society
  • Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation
  • WPPI Energy
  • Tri County Dental

Next week, we will again be on the floor voting on many important proposals that have made their way through the process. One of my bills will ensure those who use tanning facilities understand the potential health effects of it and that false advertising is prohibited.
