19th Senate District Update: November 17, 2023

Happy Thanksgiving!

It was a busy week! The Senate was on the floor this past Tuesday, voting to keep the Brewers in Wisconsin through 2050. We also confirmed several executive appointments to various boards.

The Senate also passed a bill and resolution I authored: bolstering safety practices in tanning facilities and recognizing Diabetes Awareness Month.

My staff and I were happy to meet with:

  • Wisconsin Career and Technical Student Organizations
  • Wisconsin Women in Government
  • Wisconsin Personal Services Association
  • Singlewire Software
  • University of Wisconsin Hospitals
  • We Can Advocacy

I would like to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving! We will not have an e-update next week due to the holiday.

Wisconsin Remains Home of the Brewers

On behalf of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, we would like to thank Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevara for her support of the legislation to keep the Milwaukee Brewers in Wisconsin for at least the next 27 years. We were impressed with her willingness to discuss the important issues, ask tough questions, and show leadership on an important issue for the State.
