19th Senate District Update: September 8, 2023

The fall session in the legislature has kicked off! You will see a flurry of activity in the coming weeks as bills move their way through the committee process and on to the floor.

This week, two bills I authored received public hearings, including:

  1. Clarifying that there is no need for a medical professional to deliver a receipt for a hearing aid sold over-the-counter.
  2. Making sure our best students are accepted to UW schools.

I also had the pleasure of meeting with social workers, psychotherapists, and folks from RENEW Wisconsin.
