Aspiro Legislative Breakfast
This week I had the honor of attending Aspiro’s annual legislative breakfast in Green Bay. If you aren’t familiar with this organization, Aspiro provides resources to individuals with disabilities to help them live life the way they desire. It was a pleasure to join other elected officials in speaking about the importance of the work they are doing in our community, as well as hear from an incredible individual with a powerful testimony on the difficulties faced by this community and how we can be doing better as a society to assist them.

Wisconsin Public Utility Institute Board Meeting
I had the opportunity to attend my second board meeting as a board member of the Wisconsin Public Utility Institute. It was a fascinating discussion of new research in the energy industry, artificial intelligence, and the role of data science in research and development.
Do You Have Unclaimed Property?
Did you know 1 in 7 Wisconsinites have unclaimed cash or other assets to their name? The state Department of Revenue receives reports of unclaimed property from financial institutions, insurance companies, and other businesses each year. It’s quick and free to search your name in the Wisconsin DOR’s database, and if you find that you have unclaimed property, you can immediately make a claim.
