Assembly Bill 211
This week, Senator Tomczyk, Representative Ortiz-Velez, and I testified before the Assembly Committee on State Affairs in support of Assembly Bill 211. This bi-partisan and pro-business legislation creates a clear path for more cigar lounges to open across Wisconsin with local approval.
This measure maintains public health protections while respecting business autonomy and individual choice. Cigar lounges are purpose-built spaces, and this common-sense legislation ensures they can operate within a regulated framework while also supporting their cultural role in the community.
