Artificial Intelligence

State Rep. Nate Gustafson testifies during a recent hearing of the Wisconsin Speaker's Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.

The Speaker’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held its second public hearing yesterday at TitleTownTech in Green Bay.

We heard from Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach, Microsoft, SAS Software, President Dr. John Walz of Milwaukee School of Engineering, and President Richard Barnhouse of the Waukesha County Technical College.

The discussions were enlightening, delving into the immense benefits and potential pitfalls of AI. Your voices in these public hearings are invaluable as we forge ahead to harness AI’s potential for enhanced productivity, all while safeguarding the interests of Wisconsin’s workforce and protecting the privacy of our constituents.

I look forward to learning more at the next two hearings at University of Wisconsin-Stout on November 15th and Madison on December 6th.

Your input is essential in shaping our path forward. Feel free to reach out and share your thoughts on AI, or consider joining us at the next hearing if you have a strong passion for this topic. Together, we can build a brighter, technologically-empowered future for Wisconsin.🌟 #AITaskForce #InnovateWI #AIinWI
