Voters Overwhelmingly Approve Voter ID
This week Wisconsin voters overwhelmingly approved changing the State Constitution to require a photo ID to vote in elections. 63% of Wisconsinites voted in favor the referendum. I am proud to have co-sponsored the resolution that put this to the voters, when it was introduced in the legislature in 2023. This commonsense requirement is one of the best ways to ensure election integrity.
Capitol Meetings
On Thursday I was proud to present my friend Lynndale Ihm with a citation honoring her service to the community. (See photo above.) She was recently named Wisconsin’s Miss Amazing and will be competing in a national competition in July.
Last week Victor from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHREA) stopped by to discuss workforce development issues.
District Meeting
On Monday night I participated in the Waupaca County Superintendent Roundtable in New London with other area legislators. We discussed the 2025-27 State Budget, and other issues including dual enrollment. I want to thank Administrator Scott Bleck for his service in organizing and sponsoring the event.
