U.S. Army Celebrates 250th Birthday

This week the Assembly passed Assembly Joint Resolution 66 to honor the US Army's 250th birthday. I was proud to co-sponsor this resolution to honor the excellence of the US Army. This past weekend we saw an amazing display of patriotism in Washington during the Army parade. The freedoms we enjoy here in America have been purchased by the bravery and commitment of so many great patriots past and present. I want to wish the US Army Happy birthday! This week the Assembly passed Assembly Joint Resolution 66 to honor the US Army’s 250th birthday. Capitol Meeting: A Commendation

On Thursday I had the pleasure of presenting my former staffer Steve Knudson with a commendation from Free Speech For Campus. (See featured photo above.) Free Speech For Campus is a non-profit organization that brings together concerned citizens of Wisconsin to promote and protect free speech and due process rights on our college campuses. I’m proud to serve on the board of FSFC, and it was my honor to present Steve with his well-deserved commendation.

Assembly Recognizes National Dairy Month

On Tuesday the Assembly passed Assembly Joint Resolution 59 to recognize June as Dairy Month in Wisconsin. I was happy to co-sponsor this resolution. It's always important to recognize the dairy industry and the role they play in Wisconsin.
