Protecting Women and Girls in Sports and Locker Rooms
On March 20th I voted for two important pieces of legislation, Assembly Bill 100, and Assembly Bill 102. These bills protect women and girls in sports, and in their locker rooms. Women and girls deserve the opportunity to compete on an even playing field, and to be safe in their private spaces. I am proud to not only vote for these important bills, I also co-sponsored both of them as well. Click the image up above to watch my speech on the Assembly floor.
Capitol Meetings
Last week I hosted Family Services of Appleton for a Capitol Meeting (see the photo above). Thank you to Shannon Klatt for stopping by and sharing your story.
On Tuesday I met with local leaders of the United Steel Workers Union to discuss budget priorities. Thank you to Jennifer, Nadly, and Christine for joining the discussion.
Wednesday was Ag Day at the Capitol. Thank you to the folks from the Waupaca Farm Bureau who stopped by the office to talk about the budget.
