5th Assembly District Update: January 5, 2024


The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) invites individuals with a passion for promoting agriculture to apply to be the 77th Alice in Dairyland through January 31, 2024.

As one of the most widely recognized communications professionals in Wisconsin agriculture, Alice in Dairyland travels extensively promoting Wisconsin’s agricultural industry and its impact on the state economy. In this highly visible and fast-paced position. Applicants must be female, Wisconsin residents, and at least 21 years old.

To apply, provide a cover letter, completed application form, resume, and contact information for three professional references to DATCPAlice@wisconsin.gov or PO Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708-8911 by 4:30 p.m. on January 31, 2024. Application materials are available on the Alice in Dairyland website.

Kaukauna Lions Club Santa Pub Crawl was an amazing way to support local businesses as well as a great organization. I grabbed some friends and headed out to Tommy G’s, Plan B Lounge, TAQ Brewing ,and JJ’s Cocktail Lounge to share in the fun. Over $1600 was raised and will be put towards helping with expenses such as wheel chair ramps, vision screenings, and medical equipment lockers.
