19th Senate District E-Update: March 16, 2023

NOTICE: The previously scheduled listening session for this Saturday, March 18th has been cancelled. We hope to see you at the upcoming listening sessions!

It was another busy week down in Madison, as well as in the district! I’ve enjoyed my meetings with constituents, members of the legislature, and concerned advocates. Today (3/16/22), I had the pleasure to vote on the UW Merit Scholarship legislation, as well as the recommendation to support Secretary Peter Barca of the Department of Revenue in the Senate Committee on University and Revenue.

In addition to committee, my staff and I had productive meetings with:

  • Americans for Suicide Prevention – Wisconsin
  • Members of the Wisconsin Board of Regents
  • UW System President Jay Rothman
  • the Fire & EMS Coalition
  • St. Coletta of Wisconsin
  • members of the Youth Apprenticeship program
  • Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness
