Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend celebrating America’s 248th birthday!
Last week, I had the opportunity to tour the Rodney Farm with Rep. Gustafson. It was great to see their farm and get to know another contributor to one of Wisconsin’s most critical industries.
This week, I also had more local meetings around our area. I was happy to meet with the Grand Chute Town Administrator to discuss upcoming local developments. I also met with the Winneconne Police Chief to discuss public safety and how we can best support our local police departments.
As you may know, one of our communities faced severe flooding this past weekend. I do want to say “thank you” to all of our first responders who assisted in the aftermath and let you know your efforts are truly appreciated by the Manawa-area community.
Lastly, as you may have heard, Wisconsin has primaries and elections coming up this year! You can find more information at MyVote.wi.gov.
My staff and I were also happy to meet with folks from:
- Assisted Living advocates
- Almond Village Board
- Deer Creek Town Board
- Fox Valley Technical College
- The Rodney Farm
- Town of Grand Chute
- Village of Winneconne
- City of Manawa
- Treasured and Loved on a Mission
Next week, I look forward to many more meetings in our area!
