19th Senate District Update: April 4, 2025

Happy Friday!

Earlier this week, I was able to participate in a Waupaca County school board roundtable with other legislators in New London. It was good to hear from colleagues, school board members, and school superintendents about their priorities this legislative session. I was also able to meet at the roundtable with folks from around the area about issues facing their families and possible solutions to address them.

I was able to meet down in Madison with the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, and Wisconsin Optometric Association. We also had two students from Winneconne and Larsen who were participating in the 2025 “Research in the Rotunda.” This event brings students from around the state to present their research projects on things ranging from agricultural efficiency to battery capacity!

We were also happy to meet with:

  • Ascension Wisconsin
  • Wisconsin Optometric Association
  • TC Energy
  • University of Wisconsin Madison School of Medicine and Public Health
  • Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (shoutout to Partnership and Noble Community Health Centers!)
  • Feeding Wisconsin
  • Clean Wisconsin
Wisconsin State Sen. Rachael Cabral-Guevara visited with Maria at "Research in the Rotunda." Wisconsin State Sen. Rachael Cabral-Guevara visited with Jack at "Research in the Rotunda."
