Jacque, Goeben to Share Legislative Update in De Pere

On Thursday, May 15, Wisconsin State Sen. Andre’ Jacque and State Rep. Joy Goeben will share an update on this year’s legislative session at a meeting of Northeast Wisconsin (N.E.W.) Patriots.

The meeting will take place at Cedar Creek of De Pere Event Center, 1018 Cedar Street, in De Pere. The meeting runs from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be served.

The meeting is open to the public, free of charge, but advance registration is requested. PLEASE REGISTER HERE

Jacque represents the 1st Wisconsin Senate District, which includes Green Bay and the Door Peninsula. He chairs the Committee on Natural Resources, Veteran and Military Affairs; is Vice-Chair of the Committee on Licensing, Regulatory Reform, State and Federal Affairs; and serves on the Committee on Agriculture and Revenue as well as the Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety.

Goeben represents the 5th Wisconsin Assembly District, which includes Freedom, Hobart, Seymour, and neighboring communities. She chairs the Committee on Environment and is vice-chair of the Committee on Education. She also serves on the Committee on Children and Families, Committee on Housing and Real Estate, Committee on Jobs and Economy, and Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform.

Jacque and Goeben will provide an update on the progress of budget negotiations and legislation making its way through the Senate and Assembly. They will also take questions from the audience about bills important to constituents.
