The Appleton Area School District is moving forward to expand the size of its Thomas G. Scullen Leadership Center in downtown Appleton.
At a board meeting Monday night, the school board approved the expansion of the Leadership Center, located in City Center Plaza, after a closed session discussion earlier in the meeting. The vote was taken during open session.
Board member Ed Ruffolo recused himself from the vote because of a conflict of interest.
The Leadership Center houses district administration offices and business and personnel services.
