On Monday, June 3, Fox Valley Initiative will host a candidate forum featuring candidates for the 8th Congressional District seat that has been vacated by Mike Gallagher.
André Jacque, Roger Roth, and Tony Wied — all Republican candidates for Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District — will participate in a panel discussion. Kristin Lyerly, the Democrat Party candidate in the race, was invited.
The meeting will take place at Freedom Project Academy, 750 North Hickory Farm Lane, Appleton. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will start at 7:00 p.m. The event is open to the public; a collection will be taken up during the event for those who wish to support Fox Valley Initiative and help offset expenses.
Jacque, Roth, and Wied will share their background and priorities if elected to be your representative.
Threats to America, government spending, inflation, Constitutional rights, abortion, illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, and reining in the administrative state are just a few of the important issues that would face them. This will be a great time for you to ask questions and comment on topics you consider important.
This meeting will give you an important opportunity — well in advance of the August 13 primary — to meet the candidates and gauge how well their positions mesh with yours. Please come prepared with questions. Also, bring family, friends, and neighbors to this free event.
