Pulling the Plug on Wasteful Spending

I’m proud to announce my latest effort to rein in Washington’s reckless spending: The Unplug the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Programs Act.

This bill takes aim at a staggering $7.5 billion sham from Biden’s infrastructure plan, which has delivered just 59 EV charging stations in over three years. As a small business owner, I know efficiency—$7.5 billion could’ve built 1,500 gas stations!

President Trump recently pulled the plug on this program via executive order, but it is up to Congress to actually rescind the funds. I want to thank Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) for introducing companion legislation in the United States Senate.

I’m working to end this program and refocus resources to benefit Wisconsin families. Together, we’re holding D.C. accountable!

I appreciate the President’s partnership and look forward to continuing to work with him to Make America Great Again!

University of Notre Dame President

It was great to meet with University of Notre Dame President Robert Dowd this week to discuss NIL student athlete legislation.

Our son, Simon, attends the University of Notre Dame, which made the meeting with President Dowd extra special for us. I look forward to continuing to work with him and building a strong relationship.
