The Election Is Certified!

I had the honor of joining my colleagues in a joint session of Congress to certify President Trump’s election on November 5th.

I had the opportunity to speak with Vice President – Elect JD Vance after the certification and I look forward to working with him beginning on January 20th.

ICYMI: I appeared on Fox Business Live on Tuesday to discuss President Biden’s last- minute ban on offshore drilling and how I will work with President Trump to unleash American energy and make America energy dominant!

Securing Our Border

I am proud to announce that I have signed on as an original co-sponsor of Rep. Brandon Gill’s Remain in Mexico Act. This bill will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to reinstate the successful policy of the Trump Administration that significantly reduced illegal immigration and make it permanent.

On top of that, I also voted to pass the Laken Riley Act this week which will require ICE to detain any illegal immigrant that commits a theft offense. Had this law already been in effect, Laken Riley may have still been alive today.

Securing the border is the top priority of the House GOP and we will continue to work to ensure that we end the chaos at our border and restore law and order.

Committee Assignments

I am proud to announce that I have officially been assigned to three House Committees:

• Committee on Agriculture
• Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure
• Committee on Small Business

I look forward to getting to work on each of these committees, which will have a direct impact on the people of Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

In honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, I gave a speech on the floor to thank the incredible law enforcement officers we have in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District who put their lives on the line for us every day to keep us safe.

On this day and every day, let’s remember to thank a law enforcement officer for all they do for our neighborhoods.
