Kevin, Sam Sorbo to Speak in Appleton on June 12

Actor Kevin Sorbo (from such films as Hercules and God’s Not Dead) and his wife Sam Sorbo, a nationally recognized homeschool advocate, will be among the speakers at a free public event taking place Thursday, June 12, at Poplar Hall, a popular event venue located at 141 South Riverheath Way, Appleton.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The program will run from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The event is free for those who RSVP and includes an open dessert bar, coffee, and beverages.

The event is sponsored by FreedomProject Academy and will focus on K-12 education. Duke Pesta — executive director of FreedomProject Academy, host of the Dr. Duke Show, and a tenured professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh — will also be on the program.
