The Wisconsin Supreme Court Election Is the Next Critical Step

The Democrats, leaderless empty vessels with the corrupt media serving as their spokesmen, have learned nothing at all from the re-election of Donald Trump to the Presidency. They show contempt for the will of the people and continue to try to impose the radical agenda soundly rejected by the voters.

The dishonest media threaten our freedom. The lust for money and power in government inevitably breeds corruption. Our founders envisioned a protected “free press” to serve the people as the watchdogs of truth and keep corruption in check. When the media shunned this responsibility in favor of promoting the liberal agenda, the American people became the victims of their betrayal.

The media locally and nationally are all-in on a liberal win in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, shamelessly trying to influence the outcome rather than follow the truth where it leads. Last Sunday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (JS) dominated their editorial page with an opinion piece titled “Despicable Disinformation – Musk backed Group Pushing Lies in Supreme Court Race.” The article claims that a Musk-funded group calling itself Progress 2028 is pretending to support Susan Crawford, the liberal Supreme Court candidate, while trying to discredit her by revealing she supports “hot button” issues liberals champion but many voters oppose. The outraged Editorial Board never tells the reader the actual lies being told, though they emphatically insist that “Musk’s group takes things to an unacceptable new low. Disinformation is misinformation on steroids.” (A distinction without a difference).

It’s surprising that the JS is suddenly concerned about dirty tricks in politics. They were missing in action last year when a ruthless dark money election campaign was waged by Republicans against Republicans in a successful crusade to purge the state legislature of elected representatives who refused to be yes men and women to chamber leadership rather than represent their constituents. In 2022, I ended my race for Governor as an Independent candidate in September and threw my full support behind Tim Michels, the Republican candidate. A group supporting Democratic Governor Tony Evers spent over $1 million on an ad campaign trying to dupe conservative voters into voting for me as the true conservative candidate, knowing full well I had dropped out of the race. This dirty scheme was intended to siphon votes from Michels to help Evers over the finish line. Once again, the Journal Sentinel was nowhere to be found.

Last Wednesday, the headline on the front page of the JS read, “Musk leads deep-pocketed donors by paying $19 million into Supreme Court Race.” The JS was more than accommodating to the Democrats who are trying to make this race about Elon Musk to deflect from an objective side-by-side comparison of Brad Schimel, the conservative candidate, and Susan Crawford. The article quoted Ben Wikler, Chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, calling Schimel Musk’s “latest pawn.” He added Schimel “crawled around on his kneepads begging for cash from the world’s richest man.” Daniel Bice, the author, acknowledged deep in the article that Crawford has taken in almost twice as much as Schimel in this race but, in listing some of the specifics, he didn’t come close to the truth. According to Bice, major Democratic donors George Soros gave $2 million, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker $1.5 million, and several others less than $1 million each. The real numbers are George Soros nearly $4.5 million, JB Pritzker more than $6.5 million, Reid Hoffman (who organized the donor briefing that promised donors if Susan Crawford is elected Congressional Districts will be redrawn) nearly $14.5 million, and Karla Jurvetson (another California mega donor to the Democrats) $7.3 million. These numbers were all publicly available days ago and Bice certainly had access to them.

The spending on this Supreme Court race is going to shatter the spending records of all previous races. Some are projecting it will exceed $100 million. The money in politics is obscene and one of many factors corrupting our system. It will have to be addressed if we are serious about reform. For now, we are where we are.

Last week, CNN and MSNBC passed on covering a rare open press exchange with the entire Trump Cabinet after their meeting. The transparency was unprecedented and these media outlets would not have wanted the American people to be able to evaluate for themselves the competence, alignment, and list of incredible achievements being produced for their benefit. They also took a pass on the live press conference held to announce the interagency government takedown of one of the top 3 leaders of the MS-13 gang that has been menacing cities across the country as a result of the open border. CNN did find time to try to influence Wisconsin’s election when Wolf Blitzer provided Ben Wikler the forum to spew his lies unchallenged. Wikler claimed the Wisconsin Supreme Court election has become about the world’s richest man buying a judicial election, a deceitful narrative the Democrats are pushing hard. He continued his attack on Musk with the Democratic talking points that he is going to take Social Security and health care away from the American people. More lies.

Activist judges have now joined corrupt political parties and the dishonest media in trying to obstruct the will of the American people. The Harvard Law Review recently analyzed court intervention in past presidencies and their findings, while alarming, are not surprising. In Trump’s first term he faced 64 injunctions out of the total of 127 that were issued since 1963. Since 2001, there were a total of 32 injunctions against Bush (6), Obama (12), and Biden (14).

Just weeks into Trump’s second term, it is clear that the courts are the only means available to those who want to stop him from doing exactly what he promised the voters he would do. There have been 120 lawsuits filed against his actions and 15 nationwide injunctions in February alone. The injunctions have been issued overwhelmingly by judges appointed by Democrats. As we watch the enemies of Trump shop for liberal judges around the country, we are faced with the sobering reality that a single judge anywhere can put a stop to presidential action across the entire country. This will be litigated all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Susan Crawford will be an activist judge. She has followed the path of Janet Protasiewicz, the last seated liberal Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, in signaling to liberals that she will legislate from the bench. Her ideological track record is clear and long. She champions extreme liberal causes including abortion with no limits, banning voter ID, and reversing Act 10, which prohibits most collective bargaining for public sector employees and requires them to contribute to insurance benefits similar to private sector employees. If you listen carefully to Susan Crawford as she campaigns, she never promises that she will put her own policy preferences aside and adhere strictly to the written law and the Constitution in all matters that come before the Court. Because she won’t. If elected, she will join an extreme liberal majority and legislate from the bench.

Brad Schimel has been clear and unwavering in his commitment to the judicial obligation to follow the law and the Constitution. He will issue rulings based on the laws and the Constitution as written unless the legislature and Governor replace them with new laws or the people replace them through referendum.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court Election is the next critical step in taking our country back. It is second in importance only to the election of Donald Trump to his second term. Next Tuesday, massive voter turnout will once again make this election too big to rig.

Let’s get out the vote to elect Brad Schimel to the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Brittany Kinser to Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction! Vote YES to require voter ID in every election!

    • You’re right! For a state Supreme Court candidate to campaign (publicly as well as privately) by stating how she will vote is perfect proof that she is not fit for that office.

  1. “They show contempt for the will of the people”

A billionaire is going around bribing people with 1 million dollar checks, lmao.

It’s always projection with you freaks.

    • Are you aware of the “conditions” Musk set for receiving the checks? It had nothing to do with the state Supreme Court election. And for that matter, what’s the deal with your name-calling? Of course, calling yourself “fascist losers” makes no sense, just from a grammar standpoint.
