19th Senate District Update: November 8, 2024

Hello! This week, my staff and I were happy to meet with some incredible folks around the district. I want to thank Mobility City for giving me a tour of their facility. It was good to hear what challenges and opportunities are coming up for them.

Over the weekend I also had the opportunity to celebrate an Eagle Scout Court of Honor in Omro. I had the pleasure of presenting a citation to Grayson Whiteaker to commemorate his achievement of becoming an Eagle Scout.

I want to highlight a new commercial driver training grant available to training providers in our state. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is encouraging applications to increase the number of people holding a Commercial Driver License (CDL) in Wisconsin. Providers must apply by Nov. 21, 2024, to be considered for funding.

I also want to highlight the Fall Color Report from Travel Wisconsin. This interactive map helps identify when the leaves will be changing color throughout Wisconsin. We are at or past peak color this season! Check it out!

Wisconsin State Sen. Rachael Cabral-Guevara presented Grayson with a citation to celebrate his rank as Eagle Scout.
Happy to present Grayson with a citation to celebrate his rank as Eagle Scout!
