Wisconsin Election Committee, Inc. Announces $250,000 Ad Campaign Targeting Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Advocating for Election Security
BURLINGTON, WI – The Wisconsin Election Committee, Inc. today announced a significant ad buy of $250,000, aimed at educating voters across Wisconsin about the actions of Assembly Speaker Robin Vos. The focus is on Vos’ protection of Meagan Wolfe, Administrator of the Wisconsin Election Commission.
This extensive campaign will deploy TV and radio ads, emails, robocalls, and direct mailers to the constituents in Vos’ district, underscoring the urgent need for election security.
“The goal of this campaign is to empower Wisconsin voters with knowledge and support their demand for safe, secure future elections,” a spokesperson for the Wisconsin Election Committee stated. “We strongly urge Speaker Vos to facilitate the impeachment of Ms. Wolfe, as proposed in Representative Brandtjen’s resolution or through alternative means. Our ads will clearly articulate why Wolfe’s removal is crucial and how Speaker Vos is singularly obstructing the process.”
The Committee aims to send an unequivocal message to Speaker Vos and all Wisconsin legislators: the continued protection of Meagan Wolfe is a serious concern and will trigger recall and primary challenges.
“This campaign will persist until the security of Wisconsin’s elections is assured through the removal of Ms. Wolfe or until Speaker Vos is unseated,” the spokesperson added.
In a direct appeal to Speaker Vos, the Committee emphasized, “Your narrow margin in the last primary and a current approval rating of merely 16% should be a wake-up call. It’s time to act in the interest of your constituents and allow the impeachment process to proceed. Failing to do so may result in your replacement. The people of Wisconsin deserve leaders who prioritize their demands for election integrity.”
