The Hobart Fire Department had a ribbon cutting of the brand-new fire station on November 11th. An absolutely wonderful and necessary addition to this growing community. Thank you to Village President Rich Heidel who offered a meaningful acknowledgement of Veterans Day. I was very grateful to the Village of Hobart for including me and allowing me to speak at this amazing event.
At the Capitol
Amber B stopped by my office to share about Career and Technical Student Organizations. These high school level organizations include DECA, FFA, as well as others that help prepare students with skills that transfer into careers.
Becca M. stopped by my office to discuss the APRN Modernization Act. This important piece of legislation will help address healthcare staffing shortages, provide patients greater access in all healthcare settings, help contain rising healthcare costs by allowing nurses to practice at the top of their scope. This is a good idea for Wisconsin.
