Meeting Constituents and Businesses

It is already the last day of February. The month flew by!

This week, we had quite a few meetings in Madison. We were able to meet with the Wisconsin Aesthetic Provider Coalition, Eta Sigma Gamma, the Wisconsin Nurses Association, and the UW-Madison Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. These meetings revolved around funding local public health services, updates on the avian flu outbreak, and improving conditions for our future health care professionals.

We also had a meeting with the Wisconsin Soybean Association, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, and Wisconsin BioFuels Association. We met local farmers and members from our district that help keep this state running and well fed and discussed grants and other proposals to support our farmers.

Around our area, we were able to attend the Habitat for Humanity Presentation, attended a meeting about the Manawa dam repair project, and met with folks around the district.

Also, I hope to see a lot of you at the two listening sessions taking place next week in Winneconne and Waupaca!

We were happy to have a meeting with:

  • Eta Sigma Gamma
  • Wisconsin Aesthetic Provider Coalition
  • Wisconsin Nurses Association
  • UW-Madison Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
  • Wisconsin Soybean Association
  • Wisconsin Corn Growers Association
  • Wisconsin BioFuels Association
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • City of Manawa
  • Department of Natural Resources
