Fox Valley Conservatives (FVC) held its monthly public forum on August 3, 2026 at Freedom Project Academy in Appleton. Myra (last name withheld for security reasons) gave a well-attended presentation about growing up Christian in the Islamic-majority country of Pakistan. The title and focus of her discussion was, “Wake Up! My Past is Your Future.”
Myra reported that Pakistan is 96% Muslim and only 1.6% Christian. Free speech is tightly controlled by blasphemy laws that prevent any criticism of Allah or the Muslim religion. Accusations are as good as proof and can lead to execution or long jail sentences. Sharia law, with strict dress codes and arranged marriages, is the norm, even for non-Islamic religions. Any support for Israel is blasphemous. Twenty-six Christian churches in Pakistan were burned in one night in 2023 and another 20 in April 2025.
At the age of 19, Myra was wed in an arranged marriage to a 50-year-old Pakistan Christian who lived in New York. The marriage ended within 6 months but fortunately allowed Myra a way to immigrate legally to the USA.
Myra warns about the Red/Green coalition, the working together of Socialist and Islamic factions in the United Kingdom (UK) and the USA. Increasing and violent anti-semitism is one outcome. The UK now has 1,750 mosques and areas dominant with Muslims and functional Sharia courts. In the USA in 2024, there were 800 Muslim candidates for local office, with 50 being successful. Recent Islamic political successes in Minnesota, Michigan, and New York demonstrate the increasing impact.
Wisconsin is not immune, with the probable Democrat candidate for governor, Francesca Hong, being a member of the Democrat Socialist Party and having endorsements and fundraisers with Islamic extremists.
Myra’s final message was for all of us in the United States to appreciate our freedoms and be prepared to defend these freedoms at the ballot box.

The October 5, 2026 forum will continue this topic with a review by Ann Tepoorten of her experience in Minnesota state government, a witness to the fraud, waste, and abuse rampant in their state finances since the far-left controlled Democratic party took control of that state’s legislature in 2022.
