Election observers and poll workers receive training on Wisconsin election procedures, identifying Election Day issues, and reporting concerns through the Protect the Vote program. Observer training is required for all Protect the Vote election observers, while poll workers are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Upcoming Special Monitor Trainings
Special monitors are trained to observe important pre- and post-election activities, including voting equipment testing, absentee ballot processing, and post-election canvasses. Attendance at one training session is required for volunteers serving in this role.
