Jacque Campaign: Will the Real Tony Wied Please Stand Up?

Green Bay, WI — Tony Wied’s performance in last week’s 8th Congressional District debate showed exactly who Tony is—a political hack unwilling to stand up for our conservative principles. When asked if the 2020 election was stolen from President Trump, Wied could not muster a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’, despite being prompted three times, leading to his microphone being shut off.

Tony “The Paper Tiger” Wied’s reluctance to address crucial concerns head-on is a glaring red flag for voters seeking a true conservative candidate. Throughout his campaign, he has repeatedly failed to articulate clear stances on basic topics, instead relying on rehearsed talking points fed to him by consultants. It begs the question, who is the real Tony Wied?

To date, the voters of Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District still do not know what Tony Wied believes or what he fights for. He will virtue signal conservative issues but fails to show genuine belief or the ability to staunchly fight for them. Election Integrity is just the beginning; Tony has been evasive with his views on immigration, the UN, COVID, you name it.

“Tony’s performance was an embarrassment, showcasing that he lacks both backbone and belief,” said André Jacque. “It was a simple yes or no answer—if Tony can’t handle that, he certainly isn’t ready to fight against the swamp in Washington.”

André Jacque is a proven conservative fighter. His legislative record is marked by hard-fought battles against government overreach and liberal agendas, earning him not just accolades but the battle scars to prove it. From spearheading significant pro-life legislation to being the only State Senator to sign a letter urging Vice President Pence to not certify the 2020 election results. Jacque has never shied away from fighting for his beliefs, regardless of the political consequences.

André Jacque is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District. He has served as a member of the Wisconsin Senate since 2019 and is a father of seven.
