19th Senate District Update: October 25, 2024

Hello! This week marked the start of in-person early voting in Wisconsin. You can find what’s on your ballot, how to find out when and where to vote, and more at MyVote.wi.gov.

I also wanted to share upcoming important dates for folks to keep in mind:

  • October 22-November 3: In-person absentee voting. Days and hours vary by municipality.
  • October 31: Last day by-mail absentee ballots may be requested for most voters.
  • November 1: Last day to register in-person at a municipal clerk’s office. Voters may still register on Election Day.
  • November 5: Election Day. Polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00PM. All absentee ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM.

You can find out more dates, times, and deadlines on the Wisconsin Elections Commission website.

This week, my staff and I were able to attend the Oshkosh City Council meeting, a Village of Winneconne ribbon cutting, and met with folks around our area.

I also want to highlight the Fall Color Report from Travel Wisconsin. This interactive map helps identify when the leaves will be changing color throughout Wisconsin. We are almost at peak color this season! The predicted peak color forecast for Appleton and Waupaca is the third week of October. Oshkosh and the Iola-Scandinavia area will see peak color the first week of November. Check it out!
