THE CITY COUNCIL NEXT MEETS ON MAY 20, 2026. TAXPAYERS AND VOTERS SHOULD BE THERE!

LEAD WI 2025 Recap

Last week, Wisconsin Family Council welcomed over 125 teen campers to our fifth annual LEAD Wisconsin camp. During this weeklong experience, campers participated in mock press conferences, video broadcasts, public hearings, worldview sessions, business presentations, team games, and two State Capitol visits, in addition to publishing a daily newspaper. The mission of LEAD Wisconsin is to equip teens to become effective godly leaders who engage the culture from a biblical perspective. Visit leadwi.org for more details.

We are thankful for how God has worked in the lives of our campers and crew this year and in past years and pray He continues to use what they’ve learned and experienced for His glory and the good of others. True change in culture and in government is only sustainable if we invest in the next generation of Christian leaders. That’s what LEAD Wisconsin is all about.

Note: Fox Valley Initiative, an Appleton-based conservative organization interested in local, state, and federal issues that impact our lives, provided a scholarship for one of the LEAD campers, Ryan Longsine. Ryan will speak at the August 4 meeting of Fox Valley Initiative to discuss the LEAD camp experience.
