4th Assembly District Update: November 28, 2025

Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s my pleasure to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! I am incredibly thankful for the privilege of serving as your State Representative. I hope you enjoy this special time of gathering with family and friends to celebrate the season of generosity, hope, and gratitude, and take time to express thanks for the abundant blessings in our lives.

Recognizing Small Business Saturday

This Saturday is Small Business Saturday, a day to recognize the entrepreneurs, family-owned shops, and local employers who form the backbone of our communities. As you enjoy shopping this weekend and any weekend, I encourage everyone to shop local, dine local, and invest in the businesses that keep our communities thriving.

Clarity for Voters

The Assembly passed AB 207 last week to create a nonpartisan method for clarifying referendum questions. Many voters find that these questions currently appear in obscure, literal, and confusing language.

The bill requires a plain-language explanation of the proposal, written in a nonpartisan manner, to accompany referendum questions and help voters understand what they are voting on. I look forward to the legislation proceeding.

Speaking on Nuclear Energy

[See featured photo above.] Thank you to the Wisconsin Conservative Energy Forum for inviting me to speak on a panel last week about nuclear energy and legislative efforts to make Wisconsin a leader in the industry. The other panelists and I highlighted how nuclear can effectively address future energy concerns, and we emphasized that Wisconsin has the potential to be a significant player in this next-generation technology. Thank you again for hosting this event and giving me the platform to discuss our progress and continue my advocacy on this issue.
