Wisconsin Democrats say “gerrymandering has been a scourge in Wisconsin politics for years but with a proposed Independent Redistricting Commission we can end it forever.”
They invite everyone to a meeting on May 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Mary Beth Nienhaus Room at the Appleton Public Library to learn all about it. Let’s fill the room!
Former State Representative Penny Bernard Schaber will explain how an IRC would work. Current State Senator Kris Dassler-Alfheim will speak about how the legislature works – or doesn’t – under gerrymandering.
