Switchgear Power Systems Tour
[see featured photo above] This week, I had the opportunity to tour Switchgear Power Systems in Winneconne alongside Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevara. It was a great experience to see firsthand the significant economic impact this business has on the 55th Assembly District. With over 400 employees, Switchgear Power Systems plays a vital role in supporting local jobs, strengthening our workforce, and driving economic growth in our region. I appreciate the chance to learn more about their operations and the important work they are doing right here in our community.
ABC of WI
Glad to have connected with ABC of WI member Jason Culotta to discuss ways to get more people in the skilled construction trades.

WIS 21 Omro Construction Update
Good news for Omro residents and commuters — the most impactful phase of the WIS 21 project has been significantly shortened.
Stage 3 construction on the Fox River Bridge, which directly affects traffic, has been reduced from 39 days to just 20 days. During this phase, westbound traffic will remain open, while eastbound traffic will follow a detour route.
We know how disruptive construction can be, especially for local families, businesses, and daily commuters. While there is still no plan for a traffic light at the bridge, we’ve been in active conversations with WisDOT and pushed to reduce the impact wherever possible — and we’re glad to see this timeline cut nearly in half.
We will continue advocating for practical solutions that improve safety and minimize disruption for our community.
