Fox Valley Initiative Hosts Local Candidates on March 2, 2026

Fox Valley Initiative (FVI) held its monthly public forum on March 2, 2026 at Freedom Project Academy in Appleton. The focus of the forum was to encourage conservative voters to turn out for the spring election, April 7, and to be involved in get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts of the local county GOP, such as through door-knocking, phone calls, and filling out postcards.

Multiple local and statewide conservative candidates attended the forum to introduce themselves and hand out literature and yard signs. Among the candidates in attendance were

  • Kyle Sargent, running for circuit court judge;
  • for school board and Outagamie County supervisor, Mike Janke;
  • for county supervisor, Brandon Ramus, Dawn Leiser, and Tim Hermes;
  • for Grand Chute Town Board, Walt Nocito;
  • for Wisconsin Assembly, Reive Pullen and Tony Phillips; and
  • for Secretary of State, Jay Schroeder and Brayden Myer.

The importance of choosing Judge Maria Lazar in the April 7 State Supreme Court election was emphasized by multiple speakers.

The Outagamie County GOP is holding door-knocking and phone call events at its office (2339 West Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton) from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday March 7, 14, and 21. All area conservatives are encouraged to assist with those GOTV efforts.

About Fox Valley Initiative

FVI has received 501(c)(4) status and is changing its name to Fox Valley Conservatives (FVC). The mission of FVC is to inform and activate the voting public.

The next monthly public forum will be on April 6, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Freedom Project Academy in Appleton, when students from Lawrence University will discuss their efforts to form a chapter of Turning Point USA and the resistance they have met from the university.

The May 4 forum will include a review of the results of the April 7 spring election and a presentation on modern uses of voter ID data to improve candidate name recognition, fundraising, and voter turnout. Morgan Bonwell of Right Strategies, recently hosted at the White House for her efforts assisting a conservative State Senator candidate in Indiana, will be the featured speaker on May 4.
