Referendum Transparency Bill
Senator Cabral-Guevara and I introduced a bill that would ensure that referendum questions on future ballots will include a good-faith estimate of interest with the total cost. This would allow for voters to fully understand the referendums that they are voting for by providing them with full price transparency. This is an important step to ensure that all voters are fully aware of what they are voting for. We hope to pass this legislation and get it on the Governor’s desk to have it signed into law.
