Disaster Relief Efforts
Last week our area was really pounded by high winds, heavy storms, and even tornado warnings. The results were heavy flooding and a lot of storm damage. Recovery and clean up efforts are still under way, and on Tuesday I was happy to help out the Tyson Foods “Meals that Matter,” lunch program in New London. We served 2,000 meals to volunteers who are working hard to put our communities back together.
If you’ve been impacted and need assistance, please reach out to your local Emergency Management office right away:
• Outagamie County Emergency Management
• Waupaca County Emergency Management
As always, my office is here to help too. Feel free to call us at (608) 237-9156 if you need guidance or support navigating recovery resources.

Careers in Construction NWTC Tour

On Wednesday I had the amazing opportunity to tour the construction campus of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and learn about how they partner with area employers to solve local workforce needs. Their commitment training the next generations of skilled construction workers was inspiring. Thank you to Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin for helping coordinate the visit.
