Fox Valley Initiative (FVI)—a group of conservatives in the Appleton Fox Valley area interested in local, state, and federal issues—will fund a scholarship for a teenage student interested in attending LEAD WI.
LEAD WI is a week-long camp experience built on a unique government and civics platform aimed at equipping teens to become effective and godly leaders who engage the culture from a biblical perspective. The camp is hosted by the Wisconsin Family Council.
- LEAD WI is for teens 13 to 19 years old
- Campers will spend July 12–17 at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown
- Wednesday and Friday sessions will be held at the Wisconsin State Capitol

To apply for the FVI scholarship:
- Provide your name, age, address, phone number, email, school, and grade.
- Tell us a little bit about yourself.
- In 150-300 words tell us: Who is your Favorite Founding Father (and why)?
- Submit your essay by April 25, 2026 to FoxValleyInitiative@gmail.com
Scholarship finalists will be asked to present their essay at the May 4 meeting of Fox Valley Initiative (in Appleton, Wisconsin), where the winner will be chosen.
The scholarship winner will be asked to provide a summary of his/her camp experience, with pictures.
